Welcome to "the place" a hotel demo website built using Mambo, the excellent open source content management system. 

"the place" is a small to medium sized virtual hotel located somewhere in the world. The Hotel is a pleasant stroll from any city centre you care to name, any sea you care to swim in or any mountain you care to climb. The only limit is your imagination, as we have excellent transport links from any part of the world. Worldwide cuisine is available and your favourite drinks are on tap. We have every type of room imaginable with luxurious bathrooms and soft fluffy towels. Who could resist?

The online availability and booking functionality is based on Jomres, the fully functional reservation management application for Mambo. Jomres becomes part of your website and this makes it an extremely economical and viable solution as there are no third party commissions or monthly subscriptions to pay as would be the case for a third party product.  

Please browse the site and try out the booking functionality for yourself. Please note that the payment gateway functionality has been disabled but bookings can still be made using the offline payment option.
